Seventh-day Adventists believe in the same core fundamental beliefs
as many of the other Christian denominations:
That we have just one true Father God,
who gave himself to us at Calvary,
that we might be cleansed of our sin and receive salvation.
~
What sets apart Seventh-day Adventists from other Christian denominations,
is that we believe that God’s law given in the ten-commandments has not changed.
This means that the fourth commandment stating that we should keep the seventh-day holy
(Friday sunset until Saturday sunset in the Gregorian calendar),
is still as important today as it was thousands of years ago.
This day is known as the Sabbath.
This God-given day of rest is very important and is kept as a special day
to worship and honour God.
